Terms of use

These terms govern your use of Filingo, operated by Skygnosis, a sole proprietorship of Manish Girdhari Lal Agarwal. By using the site, the Chrome extension or the Google Sheets add-on you agree to them.

The service

Free browser tools for accounting and tax work, and Firm Desk, a paid workspace for tracking client compliance. We may add, change or withdraw features. We will give reasonable notice before removing a paid feature.

Professional responsibility stays with you

The tools assist a qualified professional. They do not give tax, legal or audit advice. Due dates shown are default statutory dates and do not reflect government extensions. TDS payment codes, reconciliation results, scrutiny findings, interest and disallowance figures, and certificate drafts must be checked by you before you rely on, file or sign anything. You remain responsible for every return, report and certificate you issue.

Accounts and firms

Keep your login email secure. The firm owner decides who is invited and is responsible for what staff do in the firm's workspace. Do not enter portal passwords or documents you have no right to process.

Acceptable use

• No attempts to access another firm's data or to disrupt the service.
• No reselling or white-labelling without our written consent.
• No use that breaks the law or the ICAI Code of Ethics.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed in advance through Razorpay, yearly or monthly as chosen, plus GST. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. Your renewal price for a plan will not be higher than the price you first paid for it, unless the plan's contents materially increase and you choose to move to it. Your data

You own what you enter. You may export it at any time. Our handling of it is described in the privacy policy.

Availability

We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee it, particularly around statutory due dates when load is high. Plan your filings with a margin.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for penalties, interest, late fees, loss of profit or loss of data arising from use of the service, from reliance on its output, or from downtime.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. On termination you may export your data for 30 days.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Surat, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction.
